Pastor Geston Pierre is a Florida native. He is a graduate of Forest Lake Academy in Orlando, FL, and the great Oakwood University in Huntsville, AL where he obtained a bachelor of arts in Theology in 2009.
In 2010, he was privileged to be a contestant on NBCs The Sing Off with his Acappella group Committed and they emerged as the season two champions. They have been privileged to travel extensively across America and to many countries and continents around the world. To date his group has received nominations for the Dove, Stellar, NACCP Image Award, and even a Grammy Award Nomination.
In 2013, he completed the requirements and received a Masters of Divinity with a concentration in New Testament theology from the SDA Theological Seminary at Andrews University in Michigan. Pastor Pierre has spent the last five years pastoring in Florida and California, and is excited about currently serving in New Jersey at the Church of the Oranges.
Pastor Pierre has a passion for mentorship, leadership, and community development. He is married to his best friend Jacqueline Clemmons Pierre who has attained a Doctor of Optometry degree and is currently pursuing licensure to practice as an optometrist.
As a leader dedicated to pushing the status quo, he has attained a certification from the Management and Strategy Institute as a Certified Ethics Associate. He also serves as a public speaker for (Respect + Rebellion) a movement fostering conversations across political lines on university campuses. Geston is passionate about leadership and helping people and organizations to leverage their influence to make a lasting impact.
